The Strategic Marketing and Communications Division is crucial in ensuring that the USIU-Africa brand is consistent across the university.
The office exists to help the institution achieve its core business and is therefore the strategic partner to all academic and administrative units.

Internal Communications encompasses the effective delivery of information and corporate communications to USIU-Africa faculty, staff and students and its external publics. Specifically, this entails the co-ordination of corporate communications through a range of channels to ensure ease of access, clarity and consistency, as well establishing, maintaining and continually improves a joined up, proactive and effective internal communications process within USIU-Africa.
External Communication aims to facilitate and disseminate information between the university and other members of the public including media, parents/guardians and the general public through various suitable channels such as advertising, press statements, press releases with a mix of both traditional and new media.
The purpose of USIU-Africa’s brand guideline is to set the institution apart from other brands. Guided by the Marketing and Communications department, approval to use the University logo must be sort and procedures stipulated in the brand guidelines adhered to.
The University’s Design Studio, provides a professional design service for members of the University. Whether it is a poster, leaflet, newsletter or brochure, we aim to deliver a creative, clear and cost-effective solution to your communication requirements.
The institutional Research Office under the University Advancement exists mainly to provide a central repository of information and analysis support center for planning, management, and assessment activities of the university and its community.
Mission, Vision and ObjectivesThe vision of the office of Institutional research is to be a one-stop information and data center for the University community: to ensure that the university community has access to useful and reliable information required to facilitate the attainment of its mission.
The mission of the institutional research is to collect, organize, analyze and interpret institutional data to support university decision making, strategic planning and policy formulation.
The objective of the Office of Institutional Research is to promote the use of evidence based research for decision-making towards achieving the mission of the University through accurate, timely, tailored research/surveys to suit the diverse audiences.
Optimal Operation of an Institutional Research OfficeInstitutional DataThe institutional data comprises of;
Conduct assessment studies, retention studies, tracer studies, program effectiveness studies, etc.
Support academic unit assessment through instrument development, analysis, and interpretation
Serve as liaison between the university and CUE data submission
Report institutional data pertaining to student enrollment and characteristics, faculty and staff, academic programs, and physical space
Prepare and communicate institutional studies in such areas as academic assessment, student enrollment, retention and graduation, faculty salary and staffing, and comparative studies
Serve as research consultants and assist in interpretation and analysis of University statistical information by participating in internal and external committees and to guide appropriate use
Provide support for continuous improvement assessment activities
Maintain historical data for trend analysis
The Office of Institutional Research strives to support a "culture of evidence" at the College, where the processes of evaluation, planning and change are supported by valid and reliable information.
