Biography:

Dr. Stanley Githinji is Assistant Professor of Information Systems. He has vast experience in Information Security, research and consultancy, and educational development. He previously worked at Kenya Methodist University as Head of Computer Science department, ESRI as a Support Engineer and as a Database Developer in implementation of school mapping program, Institute of Policy analysis and Research (IPAR) as a Head of IT department and serves as a board member at Applied Information Technology Research Center (AITREC).

Dr. Stanley has vast knowledge and experience in Applied Cryptography, Computer Forensics Enterprise Risk Management of Information Systems, Information Security Audit, IT Governance and implementation of ISO 27001 standards. His research research teaching and interests are in the area of applied cryptography, Information Security, Distributed Systems and Integration of InfoSec Solutions. Stanley has consulted widely and trained professionals in Information Technology and Cybersecurity, both in private and public sector.
