Call For Papers
We invite poster submissions for the 2nd ACM Celebration of Women in Computing in Africa (AfricaCWIC 2024) to be held at USIU-Africa in Nairobi, Kenya on September 20, 2024.
Posters will be selected on the basis of submitted abstracts. An abstract should be a PDF not exceeding two single-spaced pages (including references) using 12-point Times New Roman font. Abstracts must be submitted by Wednesday, July 31, 2024 via the Web submissions system. Do not email submissions.
Posters will be selected on the following basis:
- Submissions must describe new, interesting work, not previously presented.
- Submissions should represent early work that has not yet been published in a refereed conference or journal.
- Student submissions meeting the above criteria will be given preference; however, abstracts from non-students are also welcome.
Provide the following information in your PDF file:
- Poster title
- Author names, affiliations, and email addresses
- Which authors, if any, are students
- Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection via emai. Send any questions about the poster session to Audrey Mbogho at ambogho@usiu.ac.ke.
- If your submission is accepted, guidelines will be provided to you on how to format your poster.
- Posters will be presented in person.
