Biography:

Dr. Naom Nyarigoti has over fifteen years’ professional experience in teaching and scholarship. She is currently an Assistant Professor of English and Linguistics at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa).

She holds a PhD and MA in English language and Linguistics both from the University of Reading, UK, and B.Ed., Language and Literature from Moi University. Nyarigoti also holds a Diploma in Professional Proofreading and Editing from Maple Publishing Academy-UK.

She is a reviewer of a number of journals and has widely published in the English language discipline. She has research interest, Applied Linguistics, Language in education, Language and Medicine, Multilingualism, Literacy, Language and Gender.
