Ms. Ambiyo, Sarah B.

Biography:

Ms. Sarah Ambiyo is a lecturer of English and Linguistics in the department of Languages, School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She has been teaching for the last three decades at various levels and institutions in Kenya. Her areas of interest are in sociolinguistics, especially discourse analysis and also in language policy and governance.

Ms. Ambiyo is also a writer and has published several books which are being used for teaching English in schools in Eastern Africa. She has served in various forums to enhance the production of English language teaching and learning materials and training of English language teachers in Kenya. .
