Biography:

Dr. George Achoki is currently an Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance in the Chandaria School of Business and the former Dean of the Chandaria School of Business School at United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa).

He taught and did research at the Kenyatta University, before joining USIU-Africa in September 1997. He therefore possesses administrative and managerial experience having been involved in high level consultations and policy analysis with diverse stakeholder groups, including businesses government officials, Non–governmental Organizations (NGOs), and local communities in Kenya. He has extensive Research experience in Accounting and Finance.

He has been the Director of the Global Executive MBA program at USIU-Africa for three years where he has spearheaded partnerships with 4 international universities. He also chaired the committee that rolled out the first doctorate program at USIU-Africa. He has also taught as an international faculty in United States International University in San Diego in 2000. In addition he has fifteen years’ experience in training and consultancy.

He has authored 2 book manuals, supervised over 20 Graduate and doctoral students and over 15 conference presentations.
