Biography:

Dr. Quin E. Awuor is an Assistant Professor of Applied Linguistics, and is currently acting Chair Department of Languages & Literature, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, United States International University - Africa.

Dr. Quin is a scholar, educationist and researcher, and has conducted research and published several articles in peer reviewed journals, member of CODESRIA, LAEA, English language teaching, pragmatics, Communication Studies and Second Language learning and has lectured in several universities, in Kenya and Wellington-NZ.

Dr. Quin is an accomplished editor, Internal and external examiner, in both private and public universities. Her recent research interest are Gender, language and culture; language policy and sociolinguistics. She is also the patron of the Spoken Arts and Debate Society (SADs).
