The USIU-Africa GAME Center was one of the top 9 research organizations in Africa selected by Canada's International Development Research Center (IDRC) and the Australian Center for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) through a rigorous process to carry out research on Agriculture value chains. Among the 8 phase one competitors, GAME Center was one of the 4 that also competitively joined the other 9 in phase 2.
