Program Description

Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the program, the students will be able to:

  2. Use the knowledge and skills acquired appropriately to banking and financial operations.
  3. Evaluate alternative policies and theories in international banking and finance.
  4. Conduct research on global banking and finance.

Students will be required to undergo experiential learning by participating in a Global Study Tour and write a comprehensive report supervised by a faculty.

Mode of Delivery of the Program
A variety of delivery modes and methods that promote creativity and critical thinking in learning will be employed in the delivery of the program, including case studies, problem solving strategies, use of projects and lectures complimented with question and answer approach, as well as field trips.

Admission Requirements
The following are the requirements of the proposed MA in Criminal and Transitional program:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree with at least a second upper-class honors or a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 from an accredited institution of higher learning with a background in a business field or equivalent relevant work experience, or
  2. A Bachelor’s degree with a lower second-class honors with a GPA of 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 in a business field or its equivalent with additional training, evidence of research capability either through research, paper presentation or peer reviewed publication, or
  3. A Bachelor’s degree with a lower second-class honors with a GPA of 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 or its equivalent and at least two years of relevant working experience.

Students seeking admission from non-English speaking countries shall provide evidence of English proficiency (i.e. Test of English as a Foreign Language).
