The School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) through the Department of Languages and Literature invites you to a seminar titled "Academic Writing for Publishing: An Editor's Perspective".

The seminar will be curated by Prof. Fredrick K. Iraki, Editor-in-Chief & Founder of the Journal of Language, Technology & Entrepreneurship in Africa.

Objectives of the seminar:

• To sensitive faculty on the intricacies of academic or scientific writing
• To expose faculty to the editorial dynamics (reviewing, typesetting, editing, etc)
• To demonstrate a live editing session of a journal
• To exhort faculty to engage actively in the publishing adventure
