ADMINISTRATION DIVISION

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate room allocation & billing system.
  • Inspect, approve and recommend alternative off campus accommodation facilities.
  • Supervise the maintenance, general cleanliness and security of the hostel facilities & property.
  • Ensure the health and safety of students.
  • Supervise receptionists and room attendants.
  • Generate and supervise the implementation of resident student entertainment programs on and off campus.
  • Generate and maintain incidents records and reports for hostel usage.
  • Oversee the efficient and effective delivery of laundry services.
  • Supervise laundry staff and oversee the supervision of work studies.
  • Manage the laundry budget.

UNIVERSITY ADVANCEMENT

Reporting to the Director Advancement, the Fundraising Manager is charged with the responsibility of developing strategic and operational goals of the Fundraising department; ensuring effective implementation of the fundraising programs among corporate organizations, foundations and other strategic segments.

CHANDARIA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

Reporting to the Dean, Chandaria School of Business, the holder of this position will provide practical and administrative support for the teaching of Food Production, Advanced Food Production and Catering Management and related courses and also work as a member of a team providing a service which will ensure safe, effective and efficient use of training resources to support the Hotel and Restaurant Management program.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, the position holder will be responsible for providing reliable and safe driving services to USIU-Africa staff, students and visitors ensuring highest standards of discretion and integrity and sense of responsibility.

ACADEMIC & STUDENT AFFAIRS: QUALITY ASSURANCE

Reporting to the Director, Quality Assurance, the holder of this position will coordinate activities related to faculty development with the purpose of enhancing the teaching/learning experience.  This involves, liaising with school administrators and relevant departments to identify faculty development needs,   planning and carrying out faculty training, and assessing the impact of the training. The faculty development coordinator will design tools and develop training materials among other duties.

ACADEMIC & STUDENT AFFAIRS: QUALITY ASSURANCE

Reporting to the Director, Quality Assurance, the holder of this position will coordinate activities related to program assessment and review.  This involves, but is not limited to, coordination of program assessment and program review, development and revision of instruments that support program assessment and review, analysis of and reporting on students’ evaluation of course instructions, monitor the implementation of program improvements, and in liaison with the School administrators, plan for training of assessment and review teams.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Principal Medical Officer, the job holder will be responsible for creating new medical records and retrieve existing medical records by gathering appropriate record folders and contents; assigning and recording new record numbers; verifying existing record numbers; inputting and recording locations to the system and  delivering records when needed.
