The Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs is the head of the academic affairs division. The division comprises of the Chandaria School of Business, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Science and Technology, Library, Quality Assurance, Academic Research Office and Faculty Council.

The Academic Research Office organises annual Conferences and Colloquiums where the wider Faculty are able to share ideas. The Colloquiums are an opportunity for emerging scholars, conducting research in literary studies, cultural studies or critical theory, to present aspects of their work.
