The Commission for University Education (CUE) will undertake a site visit to USIU-Africa to carry out an Institutional Quality Assurance Audit from 9.00 am Tuesday 12th April, 2016 to Thursday, 14th April, 2016.
The purpose of the audit is to validate the information contained in the USIU-Africa Self-Assessment Report submitted by USIU-Africa to CUE on 29th February, 2016. The report presents our own assessment of USIU-Africa university-wide activities which include quality of academic activities, physical and human resources, among other themes.
The panel of reviewers composed of professors from accredited universities and CUE officials, will receive presentations of the highlights of the Self-Assessment Report from key university officials. The panel will also carry out physical inspection of all university facilities including classrooms, lecture halls, laboratories, staff and faculty offices, etc. Additionally, they will also interview groups of faculty, staff, students, alumni, management, and members of both the University Council and Board of Trustees.
I wish, therefore, to urge you to cooperate with the panel when you interact with them to ensure a smooth quality audit.
The full report is available here on our intranet. I encourage you to familiarize yourself with the report if you have not done so already.
