Executive Committee Cocktail Meeting with Student Leaders
On Thursday, 26th May 2016, USIU-Africa Alumni Association Executive Committee met with former and current Student Affairs Council leaders and Global Executive MBA presidents for a cocktail event held at Fairmont The Norfolk Hotel. The meeting dealt with proposed engagement of alumni using former student leaders as ambassadors to their respective alumni classes.
While addressing the student leaders, Alumni Association Chairperson Ms. Dorothy Sagwe urged them to partner with the association as representatives for their Alma Mater to create a legacy that they can pass on to their children. She challenged them to reach out to alumni of the classes they represent and have seventy five percent of them register on the Alumni online platform and pay their membership fee.
The event was also graced by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Paul Zeleza who urged the leaders to engage continually and participate in activities of the Alumni Association.
